This product utilizes aluminum foil as the primary substrate. The backside of the foil is coated with a specialized release agent capable of thermal bonding with polyurethane (PU) foam, while the front side is coated with a rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive.
Product Details Features
Thermal Bonding with PU Foam: Maintains excellent release properties while enabling secure thermal adhesion to PU foam, providing superior sealing against air, moisture, and dust particles.
Exceptional Thermal Insulation: Combines the heat-reflective properties of aluminum (reflecting up to 97% of radiant heat) with the insulating capacity of PU foam, effectively blocking both thermal conduction and radiation.
Enhanced Durability: When applied to BOPP or PE-laminated aluminum foil tapes, the PU foam-bondable release layer offers improved resistance to acid/alkali corrosion, prevents tape breakage during application, and increases overall flexibility.
Primary Applications
Refrigeration Systems: Used in refrigerators and freezers to bond and protect condenser pipes and panels, ensuring reliable adhesion to injected PU foam for complete thermal isolation between interior and exterior compartments.
Building Insulation: Applied in construction for wall insulation, where it bonds directly with spray PU foam to enhance thermal efficiency and structural integrity.
